Yea I would try to test the flow before removing the head and check the gasket and ports.

At this point I just want to get the 7M running well, so I can work on getting a 1jz, replace all of the seals and gaskets then drop it in and sell the 7M.

ah, I hope the crankshaft pulley is fine or something because if I have to machine the crankshaft then I will just save up for a 1jz.

If the crankshaft pulley was wobbling around wouldn't I be able to see that when I use the timing light? The UV mark doesn't wobble around or anything. Where do you guys get your 1jz motors from?
