Knock sensors only do one thing and one thing only and they either work or don't. If they don't work then the TCCS will output a code. You have issues in another place. I would be checking your ignition system and replacing that fuel filter.

Hey man calm down he is just telling you the knock sensor has nothing to do with your issue. If you have a bad sensor you will have a check engine code. A knock sensor generates a alternating current depending on the vibrations that is applied to it. Just get ready to get schooled though...

The highest one 115000 or whatever it is. That will fix your issue.

Check your serial port speed on your laptop. Sounds like your port speed may be to low prolly at the default of 9600.

Yeah the engine will run with the AFM unplugged after it is started.

Small update A/C is working using R-134A. Installed AUX fan on intercooler to pull air through the intercooler and push through the condenser. Comes on when A/C is on. Installed new anti-freeze overflow bottle. Installed new CCV SS 3/4 hose. New fan shroud also.

Yeah 20 year old parts such as an ignitor or afm can do it. Now what you can do is start the car and unplug the AFM and see if your miss goes away. Then for your ignitor use a heat gun and a ice pack and add heat or cool it and see if that changes anything.

Find another AFM electronics and Ignitor and swap them out if you can ans see if the problem goes away. Also what air filter are you using? Also I really like your post actually made me want to help you out since you took the time to put together all that information to help troubleshooting.

Its all good just did Arctic freeze R-134a from advance auto and having vent temps of 50F degrees in 90F degree weather at idle in my hot ass garage. Yeah I just had no idea that ES-12a was that dangerous to use because none of the sites that sell it say otherwise and praise how great it is...

Good stuff to know Jetjock. Seems like this ES-12a is just a huge scam and all the companies selling it are very misleading. Going to go get me a R-134a retrofit kit today!
