Toyota Supra MA70 1:10 model kit: HELP?!?!?!

I think you bought a shell for a R/C car which typically come clear like that so they can be painted. Its not a model.

Holset HE351VE (No 56k and tons of pictures)

Update: Well I am having issues trying to read the VR sensor on the Holset. So I ordered a LM1815N to hopefully read the signal and convert it to a TTL output. That is the circuit I am going to try to use to read the signal with. And a pic of the bread boards!

Holset HE351VE (No 56k and tons of pictures)

Thats the only one I could find so far also. I just need to be able to figure out the max flow at what rpm. Also just bought a junk HE351VE for prototype purposes. SCORE! Looks about 920 CFM so 920 x .069 = 63.48 lbs/min at about 100,000 to 110,000 rpm. Looks like a good map to me...

Holset HE351VE (No 56k and tons of pictures)

Yes that will be incorporated in this design........... I have 90% of the parts I need to really get this controller going. First the controller will work directly off shaft RPM using the built in VR sensor. I will be using a Atmel ATMega644 40-pin 8-bit microcontroller so this will be a...

    new bhg record???

I do remember a couple of plugs on the back side of the block that do get removed for cleaning but people forget to install that may cause your oil/coolant issues.

Megasquirt .. what is latest on who is runing one. ? and boards were can you buy

Yes my Holset HE351VE is a VGT turbo currently using a actuator to control the vanes which is all right. As of now I am working on a stepper motor control using an Atmel ATmega644 8-bit microcontroller to control the vanes.

Megasquirt .. what is latest on who is runing one. ? and boards were can you buy

Nice man you know you could stick a 36-1 trigger wheel on your crank pulley and keep the cam position just incase you ever go to sequintial. I'm pretty sure that 12 tooth wheel just won't give the resolution needed specially if you are doing the 6 VB291's for coil on plug there. I may be wrong...

    Toyota A-Series Transmission controller

Yeah the GPIO output board is a bit to much for a simple transmission controller. The CPU alone on the GPIO board costs 80 dollars where Kai can build the transmission controller for less then 30 dollars.

    Electric fan reccomendation

I found out that a mechanical fan is the way to go for maximum cooling. If anything run two smaller 10in high flow fans to get as much surface coverage on the radiator over a single fan. This is what I use on my 1uz swapped 1988 toyota pickup and it keeps the engine well cooled. They are noisy...
