I'm sure you could on the MS but I'm not that smart. Yeah during cruising it kinda makes the EGTs real high, but I do have a way to adjust the vanes so they don't close down all the way.

I have noticed 90% of the time the AFM will check out fine as per the TRSM but it still doesn't work. Also since you been having CPS problems check the wires in that area to make sure you didn't break anything. Plus 18 to 24 year old anything electronic will fail at some point.
Have no idea why it is in 7MGTE Tech. I was thinking of controling it with MS but decided to keep it simple for now and seems to be working fine. Maybe later on I'll add in a solenoid to control when the actuator sees boost by using one of the spare outputs of the MS2.
Alright have been having some heat issues under the hood. Built a heatshield last night to help keep some of the heat contained around the turbo and the downpipe. I'll post some more recent pictures later. Also replaced the IAC valve hoses with some -6an SS hose I had left over to clean it up...
Yeah, now I can't wait to go to the dyno so I can get some fine tuning done. Can only do so much on the street for timing. Fuel is easy since I am running Megasquirt with Tunerstudio doing to the automatic tuning of the fuel. I have an EGT guage and have been keeping the EGTs under 1500 degrees F.
