depends on the rear end gear.. i have a 3.73 i went 170 (6300 rpm) with intake exhaust and 15 psi with the 7m.. hell i went 150 bone stock..

iirc the r150/151 is a .79 or .83 5th.. so it would be a lower gear.. how more more top end do you need.. at 6300 rpm in 5th i was doing 170.. hell with the 1jz at 7500 youll go 200..

its deff not easier on your clutch that way but its easier on your driveline.. you'll actually wear you clutch out faster that way.. But I do that, heal-toe gas and break and pop the clutch.. i hate it when people lurch forward the slam on the breaks.. lol..
