I'm sure if someone reverse engineered the blitz ecu they could copy the daughter board and sell reflashed eproms w/ new progrmas.. but not enough money in it to invest the time..
hardtop.. after owning 3 targa cars and 1 hardtop car (2x 91 targas, 1 92 targa, 1 87 hardtop).. the hardtop is much better.. even with it on the hardtop is more rigid.. I dont utilize the targa that much so not worth it.. and I HATE the shake from hitting bumps.. it annoys the shit out of me...
carbon can handle heat up to like 2k degrees.. when ceramic or metalic gets like 1000 it loses grip.. not to mention carbon wears much less.. make sure to get carbon/carbon clutch.. cause you'll overheat metal friction plates (exedy carbon clutches) and may warp with the heat the carbon can...
with street tires 2.0-2.1 is good imo
sub 2.0 is very nice.. especially with power!
af for the clutch, I would go carbon and wouldn't bother with anything else honestly..
mark, talk to sean about the ats/carbonetic clutches... they seem like very nice units and price isn't that bad (and carbon :) )
good 60' times though.. what tires do you have?
