You'll also need the metal center caps for the sawbladz to look complete, which are hard to come by from what I've heard. Most center caps are plastic (like mine).
That's the way it's "suppost" to, but a lot of our supras, if not properly maintained in the coolant area, don't do it or do it very slowly. You can jack up the front of your car really high, until the tip of your muffler is almost touching the ground. Run the engine until the thermostat is open...
There was a thread on here where someone took the exhaust housing of the CT and ported it and another person was giving them tips on how to do it (you can only remove like 1mm), but I did a quick search, but it didn't come up with the thread i was thinking of... Search on here some, it's around...
Just because you're wanting to get a "JDM" motor doesn't mean that it isn't a POS from being ragged on like any american 7M. If you can't use your old engine anymore, save some money and buy a local 7M and rebuild it according to your wants and needs power wise ;).
When some supra ppl say putting the 4.30 dif. in the car is "spin city" they just don't know how to put the power down. I think there was a good little pun about supras from a mustang guy one time that was something like, "I've got XXX HP and this guy in the supra has XXX HP (typically at least...
Long time no see John ;), I can finally post at work again! I had also realized that after I posted, but I'd figure he'd at least know how a thermostat worked (or he'd find out soon enough ;)).
Flush the green out with water (running water hose) while letting the engine run to pump the fluid out completely. Turn it off, then put the new in ;).
It's all in the offset and width of the tire, along with your suspension. Did you have the car before you had the rims? If you just bought the rims cuz it was a good deal or they looked good, you really should have done some research to see if they will even work on your car... :3d_frown:
I haven't heard many aftermarket exhaust for supras as me and my cousin are the only turbo ones around where I live (except one other that I see every once in a blue moon). My cousin has the RSR Exmag GT2 (I'll probably be getting the same) and I've also hear the drager (very quiet IMO) and home...
You would need a wind tunnel to properly tune the fins to be functinal, not to mention a bigger spoiler to better catch the draft that the fins redirect.
^Well spoken. I've never seen this mustang or the supra, but I'd bet the mustang is built to go down the quarter mile (suspension and tire wise) whereas the supra isn't. Put a good suspension in the back of that supra with some good tires (and a good driver) then see what the outcome of a drag...
