Oh capitalism at work. Good stuff. ;)
I'd pull the fuse box and check the connections at the back. I've had similar problems with other cars where the connectors on the back simply weren't in all the way. :dunno:
Any time ANYBODY asks for deal over ebay or escrow, you should look elsewhere.
Craigslist 101:
Cash only
Local only
Meet in daylight
Meet in public place if possible
Don't go alone to anyone's place.
etc...
As a young know-it-all :sarcasm: who's bought and sold a few cars, I'd say that title could REALLY hurt your sale value. If I'm looking at buying a car and I find out it has a savlage title or the like, no matter how good it looks, my cash offer is cut in half.
Good, clean title I'd say 5...
God I love your photos. I'm pretty sure I've had your car on my desktop more often than any other series of images.
Very nice example of a mk3, and now I'm done with the nutswinging.
Haha, accordion is already purchased. We don't plan on throwing money at this thing before we know what problems it really has. It's a matter of prioritization of funds at this point. Saving 30 bucks was well worth waiting a few days. ;)
Ya, good call. Double checked voltage, thanks to the nifty cover in the hatch and there are 12 volts. Gotta be the pump. Figures, since the car sat for so long.
Who's a zombie?! :biglaugh:
Damn!
Now I really need to do mine! I used some polish by hand a while back and it helped, but got nowhere near as smooth and defect-less as that is. I'd be afraid to go through the clear...
Of course your location plays a HUGE role in what carrier provides better coverage, but I currently have AT&T. I have it because I get a better dealer plan. (30/month for unlimited data/messaging and 2000 minutes;)) I came from Verizon. With Verizon I had a handful of dropped calls in TWO...
When Cam says we tried listening for the fuel pump, that's what he means. ;)
The pump is normally very audible when jumpered and ours is silent like the lambs.
A replacement is being acquired.
Nobody is talking about this?!
This phone is pretty freakin cool. I sell phones at work (Best Buy) and I spent just about all day today playing with this device. Very neat, very responsive, ugly, very user friendly and features google navigation (street view) in real time.
Very cool. If you...
The tint will definitely come off. We'll probably just leave it clear though. I haven't even gotten around to tinting my main Supra's windows...
As for the rebuild, we're ready to tear into it, but we're curious to see how it runs right off the bat. The previous owner and his mechanics...
I straightened mine out a while back and it was almost perfect again. Then I hit something coming back from SILV last year.
Just take off the metal support bar and straighten it, maybe heat up the lip if it's deformed much, but they're repairable for the most part.
Well i'm including the initial cost of the car. So outside of the original $25,000 another $25,000 has been spent.
The first owner drove it to 250k miles and had everything done at the Toyota dealer. She paid over 4 grand for a FULL rebuild on two separate BHG's. If I could meet her I...
True, I suppose the only person getting "ripped off" is the person you sell the xbox to, who is still getting it cheaper than normal.
Either way, it's way more hassle than I'd ever go through.
But to the orignal point: This is a good way to get a 360!
