Damn, those are all a little tight. I'd double check your measurement and then maybe ask the shop if they checked any of the clearances. If those measurements are accurate you need to get a lot of thinner shims.

This is exactly what worries me for my upcoming gte swap. Where-o-where do I go about finding a used gte block that I can BE SURE has not suffered damage a rebuild will fail to remedy. I'd love to drop 5 grand on a brand new head and block, but that isn't in the cards this << 23 year old...

The little tray just behind the shifter is less deep on 90+ due to the airbag. Same goes for the center console. 89's had a deeper console, 90-92 are about half as deep.

The na block doesn't have the turbo feed and drain line, but you can remedy that. Get the oil pan drilled and get a nipple welded on for the oil return (drain) and there's a neat little plug just forward of the oil filter on the block that you can use for an oil feed line. It's not as easy as...

Sounds like the power steering pressure hose has a leak, ngk wires are a good option.

Check the date on the bottle. On the back should be a series of numbers and letters. Towards the beginning there is a set of numbers that starts with 05,06,07,08, or 09. I believe that tells you what year the GC is from. It used to be green, but that was many years ago. If you managed to get...
