1990, I was 4, liked country music and was about to start pimpin' in kindergarten.
19 years later, I hate county music and can't pimp worth shit, lol. I didn't really know about the MK3 supra until I was in high school, didn't become interested in them until I found SupraMania freshman year of...
I believe you can just swap the tachs, but as for the boost gauge I'd just go aftermarket. Stock one is really, really slow.
Another option on the tach is to swap the necessary resistors. Either way, you need to pull it.
Nope, no changes necessary. The resistor values are close enough that it doesn't matter. Just leave it.
I used different resistors when I did my custom set-up replacing the incandescent lights behind the dash buttons, but that's just cuz I'm a dork. It wasn't really necessary I dont think...
^^Kudos on your attitude towards the situation. Sounds like a less than stellar upbringing, but it's never too late to learn! :)
Just reiterates my feelings on the whole education failure. Children need to be given a reason, a motivation, a meaning behind the knowledge. That can come from...
I really dont think my teachers failed me throughout school. Looking back, I had great history teachers, great math teachers (though at the time I really didn't like many of them at all).
I don't think it's always the teachers faults, but more so the fault of the culture which surrounds...
There was a thread on this earlier this month or late october.
Conclusion seemed to be that the cheap gasket sets were fine for most the less significant gaskets, but you want good ones (Genuine Toyota) for the head gasket, exhaust manifold, turbo, turbo elbow and maybe a few others.
How on Earth do you adjust the hatch latch? I've tried a few times to look at it and all I see is a big countersunk screw that allows *maybe* 1mm of "adjustment", but everyone talks like you can wildly vary it's placement.
Am I missing something because my hatch rattles like mad and its...
Haha, sounds like you bought a mk3 alright!
Seriously though, it's very difficult to find one of these in great shape. They almost all need some work if they're being sold.
But take your time, repair it right, don't cheap out on important stuff and you should be rewarded for your work...
Definitely been there as far as the moment of panic and not being able to think straight.
The magnet on the bottom idea seems like it should work well if you get a strong enough magnet. Coat hanger would work too.
Good luck!
Haha, totally didn't catch the "pissed" thing. Guess that's a more powerful swear word in the UK, cuz here its not exactly vulgar.
Sounds like you guys had a good time, haha.
Wow. And I'm excited to be able to put down epoxy on the floors and get a full floorstanding tool chest, lol.
So cool. I'd be fine with living in a 1000 sq ft house with a 1000 sq ft garage.
Please tell me you drained the tranny fluid before just topping it off...
If not you should do that before driving it any more...
Money $hift is right...
Just finished single player campaign.
I got confused who I was shooting at half the time. I'd just fire and wait to see if someone would yell "Friendly fire!" or not.
I loved the multiple path options in most parts.
The game as a whole was very chaotic (not necessarily a bad thing, but not...
Once I have a steady, career job I'll floor it all day. Until then, fixing broken items is a bit concerning.
I trust my NA now, but it's taken a few years to get comfortable flooring it to 5-6k.
