The valve cover gaskets can be tricky on the 7M. Mine are leaking badly now after 25k miles. You shouldn't have to put RTV all around, but rather just in the front on the corners. Although I may have to try putting it all around if another set of gaskets start failing on me.

I use excel for everything, lol. I have every record of my car in an excel speadsheet. It has dates, mileage, parts/labor performed and costs. To date I have record of over $50,000 being spent on my 300k NA. :)

Some people really dont care for the tems set-up, but I like it. I'd say get some tokico illuminas (compatible with TEMS) and get some very mild springs (Whiteline comes to mind) and swaybars with some new poly bushings. Of course just going with coilovers wouldn't be a bad route to take...
