hmmm... sounds like that could be a wiring issue, when it doesn't start, try wiggling the CPS wires a bit, that's what I have to do to mine once in a while, and I have read about it on countless threads... Do you get any codes?

IJ is totally right on the cooling issue... I just replaced my water pump, now it needs a new fan clutch, as it's running a bit hot, and if you don't let it idle for a long time after driving it, the coolant will start to boil and spill out of the overflow...maybe you should replace that too...

it's probably your hi-pressure line going to the pump... clean the area, and check to see...
