Your radiator looks to be original. If it is, it could very well be getting clogged. Years ago, I had an issue in the summer, where the temp would be fine while driving, but if I turned on AC, it would begin to overheat. I was right at the maximum heat transfer threshold of the cooling system, with AC off. Replaced the radiator, and never ran hot again.
Sadly it was the head gasket, but I will flush the radiator when I get the head back and start putting it back together.

Thank you, Bru, and Pi for the support!

And thanks to Jeff for getting Supramania back again! It is the true happiest place on Earth!

I guess the radiator was a little dirtier than I thought :)

No clogs or leaks though. Shame it is not easy to replace this on an auto car with the Mishimoto Bru recommended.

+After cleaning this you should notice an improvement in cooling. This is a classic example of debris getting sucked up between the AC condenser and the front of the cooling radiator.

For the past two weeks, I've been attacking a to-do list for my car.
Things like:
Fix exhaust leak
reinstall all interior plastics
Reassemble gauge cluster
adjust headlights(fabrication involved)
Replace front and rear washer pumps
Repair fuel sender
replace fan clutch
finish rear carpet install
etc, etc, etc.

I'm now down to only 15 items, but I think the car is now driveable.
I will attempt the first actual test drive tomorrow.
