my car just passed smog...legally! YAY!!!...anyway, it wouldn't pass before, because one of the wires (the main one) to the o2 was short because of a bad connection, and would work intermittently... so check your wiring, change your oil, do a tune-up...etc.
Im not sure on the technical aspect of removing your power steering, but I went without power steering for about two weeks, and damn is the Supra hard to turn at low speeds! I literally gained quite a bit of muscle in my arms! lol...at high speeds it was no problem though...
really? you had the same problem with the climate control lights? I by-passed the warning box, because mine was fried from water leaking in to it from the taillight seals, and my rear-running lights weren't working.
When I press the brakes, my driver's side lights come one okay, but the passenger ones are so dim that it looks like they are not even working... when they are just turned on to running lights, they all light up okay... Also, I just did the taillight re-wire (by-passed the light failure box)...
bishop: how did you paint your sawblades lie that?? I di mine EXACTLY like that when I had my NA...what kind of paint did you use? and what method? That looks great! Is that color code 042?
