With the key in the "ON" position, push the pedal all the way to the floor...the TEMS system should go to full firm, and you will hear them click. That tests the WOT part of the TPS (forgot what it's called). To test the IDL contacts, jumper the diag connector, and lightly press the gas pedal...
Nice! It's good that you are replacing everything..better safe than sorry ;). The motor sounds like it is in pretty good shape, hopefully you won't have any problems with it.
I wish it were possible...but it isn't...:(
And I dont think we should let the beat up Supras die...they need our help :(. It makes me sooo fucking mad when I see some kid driving a BEAT-UP Supra that sounds like shit, and it two different colors...I want to strangle them and take their cars...
The W58 wasn't designed to handle that kinda horsepower...It won't last very long with abuse...I would just spend the money to rebuild the R-154, which can handle just about anything you throw at it.
