    Where does this go!

lol...I drove it w/out a TPS for like 6 months and then sold it...w/out a TPS...it drove fine without it, but it idled high, and didn't have as much power, and gas mileage sucked. I think you need a new TPS...still have a code 41?

    Where does this go!

Did the idle stop going up and down though?? Let it idle with the TPS disconnected for a bit, the idle should go down some. You are getting a code 41 for a reason....Have you checked codes since the ecu reset?

    Where does this go!

okay...I saw it. Your TPS or wiring is fubar'd...lol. That's exactly what mine did...try to run it with the TPS disconnected...it should idle normally around 1000.

    Where does this go!

Check the wiring wiggle the TPS connector while the car is running...

    Where does this go!

TPS will cause those problems...Best to fix that first...I don't think resetting the ECU will help, but you can try it...IIRC you just disconnect the battery for like a min...

  18. johnathan1

    Where does this go!

Hmmm...not sure how long...but I would think that 10-15 mins would do it...check codes yet?
  19. johnathan1

    Where does this go!

Just drive the car around a little bit...no need to pull EFI fuse unless you are going to clear codes... IS the ACIS reconnected now?

    Let's do a survey!

Apparently not if Nick's head gasket is still holding up...I think that the stock torque spec is only one factor of many that contribute to BHG's.
