Have you checked the small vacuum nipple on the back of the intake manifold (faces the firewall)? That could be a boost leak, and is also the vacuum source for the stock boost gauge.
JITB FTW!
My favorite combo is:
-Jumbo Jack w/secret sauce
-Bacon & Cheddar wedges
-two tacos
-3 Jalapenos w/Ranch
And a diet coke.
:biglaugh:
Jesus, I'm a fat ass.
Look at all of the things on top of the fender in the engine bay. It says "Turbo Pressure Senor Assy." or something...it's a little black box, with a connector and a vacuum line going to it.
And yea, the stock gauge kinda sucks...since I installed my aftermarket gauge, and saw how inaccurate...
Do it however you can. If it were me, I would take whatever car I could get if it meant the Supra could be rebuilt and running...
You're lucky you have someone willing to let you borrow their car...
What psi do you normally hit? At what psi does your car hit fuel cut, normally? Maybe it was just a really cold night?
Oh, and Kyle, could you list your mods?
Yes, you can get a new key cut at the dealer. You may have to get the code off of your passenger side door lock cylinder though. I tried to call toyota and get the code, but apparently, Toyota doesn't keep all of the key codes after like 15 years or something.
7.5 psi is a little higher than stock pressure, its probably going a little higher because you have an intake, and partial exhaust...
And setting the timing will give it a little extra power too.
