    Cut springs?

One and a quarter coils, and make sure you DO NOT cut the smaller diameter end of the coil spring. Also, use an angle grinder or a pneumatic grinder/cutter and keep the coils cool with water so you don't heat them up and wreck them. Do not use a torch.

    A/C causes overheat

Also, if you recently recharged your a/c (especially if you converted to R34 and didn't reduce the volume of refrigerant to 80% of factory recomended capacity) you may have the system overcharged, which will cause the engine to lope at idle, and believe it or not...overheat! Just a thought.

    Really Wild looking Scandinavian MKIII

It's interesting, but it looks like 20 people all customized it without talking to one another. It looks like someone kicked a dent in the rear panal and then glued a fake gas cap over the dent.

    More supra ebay hilariousness

:3d_frown: I doubt very much that there is anything "turbo" or "GTE" about this car, and I'm pretty certain the only thing "forged", is his description of this car.:3d_frown:

    targa

Not trying to start a war but the "sport roof" was a stupid (but bafflingly popular) option. I think chassis flex on a sport roof is a much bigger issue, but agreed, if you could take some weight off the highest part of the car it would probably help.

    License Suspended!!!!!!!!

Get on the phone TOMORROW and talk to every attorney who will take your call. VERY IMPORTANT... You need to talk to the actual attorney and not some secretary or flunky. (You'll see what I mean when you start making phone calls.) Since you're a youngster, I'm assuming you're not flush...

    License Suspended!!!!!!!!

Seriously dude, get a lawyer. He can probably work a plea-bargan and get the charge reduced, keeping you out of jail and maybe keep your license out of suspension (something you will have no chance of accomplishing on your own). Plus, if your license gets suspended, and by some sad twist...

    help! very odd problem

I'm really curious to hear what happens when you put a belt driven fan back on your car. Let us know if it solves both the overheating and electrical problems. I can appreciate that you are a little leary of electric fans because of this experience, but I have used them for two years in SoCal...

    help! very odd problem

It may be the electric fans are causing the problem, but if that's the case (assuming they're not shorted internally) than it's something you did when you wired them up. Did you use relays and fuses? Did you use a large enough gauge wire? I recommend a minimum of 12 gauge, I use even...

    led front turn signals

You can clearly see the individual led's on a new G35 for instance, but it definitely looks different from the example posted here. Is that what the defuser does? It looks alot different.

Anyone used Duplicolor to paint their wheels??

When I painted my wheels (the second time), I decided to use clear coat, because they kinda discolored and chipped the first time. Six months later I can say they have definitely held up much better with the clearcoat. So I'd clearcoat them for sure.

    Best mod to date.

I'm in SoCal and when my A/C was out for two weeks, I was in hell. I can only imagine what it must be like with no A/C in Arizona. You must be thrilled.:biglaugh:

Somthing that every supra fanatic can enjoy!

If it's a true garage queen, and well maintained by a consience owner, it should have alot more than "a nice interior". I still think there are more than a few like that out there.

Somthing that every supra fanatic can enjoy!

Yesterday, I found a 92 Supra advertised online with 28,500 miles on it. I would have bought it even though it was on the east coast (I'm in Ca.), untill I realized it wasn't a turbo. But it just goes to show that there are low-low-low milage cars out there. You just have to seek...

On the Fence: What's my project worth?

Well said. It might be a horrible financial investment (as compared to gold or blue chip stocks etc), but I look at as a personal investment in my happiness. I can't drive a Camry (due respect, it's a good car) and feel good going down the road.
