I can't imagine what would buzz. However, when the transmission's pump starts to go out, or the pressure is adjusted too high on the cable it will make a whining sound.

If you can't find anything wrong with the transmission then you might want to have a look at your motor mounts. Sometimes it's hard to tell by listening where exactly the clunk is coming from and you might be getting fooled because of your pre-occupation with your trans and driveline.

I've seen chrome on aluminum that lasted really well. So, I think it's more a matter of how the process is accomplished. Like everything else there's the right way and every other way. I think your e-brake was done 1 of the every other ways. Toss it.

Does the headlight re-wire make that much of a difference? I'm running sylvania silverstars, which work pretty well, but I'd gladly do the rewire if it's going to make a noticable difference. I've considered it, but didn't know if it was worth the trouble.

Yes, but they're probably refering to "real" 127-130mph and not a "supramania members" 127-130mph (which I think is about 90mph).

Assuming it doesn't fall apart, it might actually make a noticeable difference on an n/a, but I don't think it would make any difference on a turbo. It looks mickey mouse, but in theory I don't see why it wouldn't work, especially on an N/A.
