    Should I switch to DDP?

If I recall correctly, the Tanabe exhaust is the one that is the wrong length for non-california cars. Or something like that... it's a different length for some reason or other.

Faces to Names 2: The Reckoning

This might be a very strange question, but how does your hair stay "out" when you wake up? Whenever I wake up my hair is stuck curved in the shape of that part where my head meets my neck and it's really, really annoying. It's always curved up at the tips until I wash it or something.

Not a tech. thread, but a question..

I don't know about everyone else, but speaking personally, the whole hardcore fast car with no sound deadening/AC/PS etc thing got old really, really fast. Then again I crashed the car that I did that to so I might be a bit biased against it =( My dad has an SC, I don't think it's that...

    Fuel cut and/or wastegate issues

Thanks for the confirmation, I didn't want to go do something and mess everything up =) Porting the DDP hole isn't a bad idea either, I'm probably going to do that while I'm doing the turbo. As for the fuel upgrades, would it be possible to do AFPR, lexus AFM, and fuel tuning device...

    Really weird problem!!

You rev it in park? Can you do that? (serious question here, I've never done it and don't know if it's possible) If you have the Lexus AFM and no way to match the fuel curve to the increased airflow that could cause problems. Do you have any codes? I imagine if the engine's shutting down you're...

    New to the import world

The route I would have gone with would have been a 383 too! I don't want to think about the gas mileage I'd get if I had one though. Supras don't get great mileage but they're ok. Even though the autos are good I just like the more involved feel a manual gives you. Otherwise I find myself paying...

    New to the import world

350s are pretty rare, especially with a manual transmission in 3rd gens. I couldn't find one when I wanted one =( 3rd gen Formulas are one of my favorite cars, I probably would have bought one if I didn't find a Supra for sale first.

Did I really win?: Me vs Charger R/T vs LT1 Firebird Formula

Maybe it's teh torks? I've never driven or been in an LT1 but don't they only make like 300 HP? I personally hate the way the LT1 firebirds look so I never really looked into them (or the Camaro).

    Fuel cut and/or wastegate issues

Would I? My logic was that even though the 550s give a large margin of safety in fuel flow, it would still be running on the stock ECU. I know many people use 550s and the lexus AFM and everything is fine but a good tune usually helps too. Do I not need an AFPR if I go with the 550s? That would...

    Fuel cut and/or wastegate issues

IJ, you're right, fuel cut is based on airflow through the AFM. That's what made me think it would be fine to upgrade basically everything involved in flowing air and leaving the turbo alone =( I didn't expect it to be able to boost such a high psi though. Never heard of it happening until now...

    Fuel cut and/or wastegate issues

Wow, that sucks. I wish I had known earlier that my mods would bring me to fuel cut... could have saved myself some money and kept a stock exhaust or something =) Poodles, you're probably right about the accordian, the old one had a pretty big crack in it. I did only drive around for about 50...

    Fuel cut and/or wastegate issues

I'm having a few issues with my car at the moment and have been trying to figure them out for the past few weeks. I've gotten it to the point where it runs well and is drivable, but there are still some very irritating problems I'm having trouble with and I was hoping if I posted them up here...

 Where are the pictures of this? I like your trucks BTW =) I don't think you'll forget the Firebird when you get the Supra running, 7Ms have decent torque but it's just not quite the same =(

    240SX with SawBlades

True dat. The coupe or convertible is the only 240SX I would ever consider. The hatches looks really dumb IMO and don't they have more body flex? The sawblades look amazingly good on that car though, hatch or not =)

Greddy Type S or Profect B Spec II?

I believe both of them use the same solenoid and maybe even operate the same way. The type-S is just easier to use since the controls are simple knobs, while the profec has the screen and buttons. I think the profec has some additional features though, like displaying the boost level on screen...

Greddy Profec B Spec 2 EBC Clicking Noise

It is normal like everyone says, but I have noticed greddys make more noise than some other brands. My HKS solenoid does click but you can't hear it in the cabin =)

Project Cherry Widebody, finished! (New pics on post #451 and #511)

The side view is my favorite =) That is, until you get a top-down view. I have a feeling your widebody will make it look even better than a normal MKIII, which I decided a while ago is the best looking car from the sky ever made!

Faces to Names 2: The Reckoning

I am a male. As evidenced by how the females seem to like my manly hair =) I was somewhat worried you just drove on up there, but I should have known that you wouldn't torture your precious supra like that. Still, it was a  moment when I looked all around for a place a car could...
