The distributor cap only replaces the coil pack. It still has the engine speed and position sensor.

Stock. The last time out, the auto parts stores didn't have the Nippondenso or NGK part number in stock.
So I bought the Toyota ones, and they come in a Toyota box. I think they were ND's.
Can you get your hands on a DSO? If you want to do this yourself, you need it.
A DSO is a digital storage oscilliscope, or small hand held scope, to show you voltage over time.
Watch for the sensor cross counting, then you will know quickly if the feedback is working right.
Blue printing the engine is matching cylinders and combustion chambers so they are identical. Factory engines are made on an assembly line, not hand built.
