No, they are all the same. The only 3.91 7MGE was the Cressida. However, the A340E automatic has deeper overdrive. .70:1, compared to the W58 and its .78:1.
With an A340E trans at 70mph and stock tire diameter, you would be at 2843 rpm in O/D.
Yeah, that isn't so. It is possible that the seals you put in where not installed correctly. Don't feel insulted by that, it happens.
How is Campbell? No longer in the 3rd?

Page 12 of 21 for those that want to read about locking out gears when the temps are too low. In fact, it would be beneficial to read the entire pdf even if you are not solid on automatic trans operation.
Seems like nothing. I would have to look. The appendix of the 850 technician course book, it mentioned things like idle and 2000 rpm just to give you a ball park.
In general, having a bunch of parts that other people wanted to get rid of is a sign they might not work right.
I can't really think of a good reason it would do what you have in the video. Toyota implies the two ends complete the circuit. I am the one that is missing something.
Unless you broke the stud, that can not happen.
You are not seeing obvious physical damage. There is one coil for each pair of cylinders. The only way to do what you claim is if the stud was broke. If the stud was broke, the plug boot would not fit right. You would know it.
Yes, it is wiring issue, but not the coil pack. It is impossible to have your symptom and be the coil pack. Now you need to change the high tension cord.
I want to make a note. The trans computer uses TPS and THA, which is engine coolant temps along with the speed sensor. THA has no function with the TEMS. The ECT (electronic controlled transmission) needs those signals for correct timing and lock out of high gear when cold.
The transmission is synchronized. The shaft speeds are the same because they ride the same shaft. Not driving like that is because of safety concerns and wasting your money via fuel costs.
