I have been eyeballing that exact clutch setup Randy, (ACT XTSS). I would be very interested to know how it is in real life. I'm tired of my harsh 6-puck.
Even if it wasn't ported, wouldn't the irregular shape of those ridges inside the housing still help to disrupt a bouncing air pressure surge wave? Kind of like baffling in a muffler, which is designed to be less reflective to reduce sound pressure waves.
My Flex-a-lite fan also had a terminal unsolder itself from the control board because of heat and cooked any wiring less than 12 or 14 guage. These bitches suck power!
My car came with a 1pce aluminum shaft. The previous owner seemed convinced that he felt a "kick in the pants" when that upgrade was done. I don't notice any unusual noise or vibration, but when you shock the drivetrain's natural slack it does make a hollow ping sound, like a big hollow tube...
We didn't get any photos but Randy and I concluded that this kit would be too much trouble.
After looking at the S2 website and http://www.curve-ad.com it looks like these guys are using a custom made bolt-on hinge kit made specifically for each car, including the A70...
Damn! These hinges won't work on this car. There is just not enough room between the fender and the body of the car. It might be possible with some extreme mods to the structure of the unibody beside the upper door hinge, but the inner part of the door's weatherstripping would still not clear...
I can assure you that none of the people who report good results with the products are getting any kind of compensation. They are all doing it on their own free will, and I am not asking them to do so. None of them are on my business team either. I chose to market this product because I believed...
I did a writeup on installing rectangular headlights from a Pontiac Grad Prix here: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18406
I retrofitted HID bulbs and I can still raise/lower them like stock. If you guys like this mod, feel free to copy it. That's why I did the writeup.
Your targa bar is awesome weezl, and is not going unnoticed. I'm just keen on exhausting every possible way to get rid of the targa wobble before I put a bar on :)
Thanks for crunching the numbers Junior. Do you figure the 8lb foam would be strong enough? That would weigh about as much as a targa brace and if it worked, it would be fantastic.
By the way I am running a floor bar brace that supports the points you are talking about (I think) and I did...
I could be wrong but I think the 250psi compressive strength suggests that it would take 250psi of pressure before it buckles or compressess. It does not put any preload on surfaces as it hardens(areas with relief holes).
A reducion of 25%-50% of the flex in the rocker panels might eliminate...
