Maybe try some hot water and a tiny bit of dishsoap or bleach and let it soak, then shake it and rinse with a garden hose. Let it dry, and see if it is enough?

The last time I needed a tow, they lifted the car with the front tires and straps held the tire into the 2 big bars they were sitting on. No need to touch the body at all.
