21psi on what? What mods? That the damn point. Nobody in their right mind would look at the first post and say "sure he could walk on it from a roll when he should be around 50HP less than the SS." I called BS because it didn't add up, he said he didn't state all his mods, it now makes...

Oh, this would only be, I dunno, the first time, go drink your haterade somewhere else. Also note the simple fact that the OP has NOT stated all of his mods so a fair comparison is IMPOSSIBLE. Actually no, the new standards just mean an ASE certified technician has to be standing there...

    these rims?

Yes, but tires are by far THE most important thing on your car. The 4 contact patches determine if you can accelerate, brake, or turn and are what you're depending upon in a panic situation. Don't skimp.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21259 Also seeing high 12's on them stock and with higher trap speeds. You wouldn't be walking by him, you'd catch him on the launch. If it did happen, it was driver error IMHO. Anything can happen on the street. Don't take offense, as all...

:bsflag: SS is 425HP and the LS motors are underrated 99% of the time. It was either a V6 or the auto SS that uses the lower power V8 or he didn't know how to drive.

    Trunk Rattles bad

I've seen dynamat used in strips as it acts as a shock absorber and doesn't need to entirely cover a surface to work. Not to mention it's much cheaper and lighter to use it in such a way.

Oil leak in the pan will have zero effect on pressures (unless all the oil leaked out).

    Shifter Bushing problem

There's your issue. The W58 (NA tranny) has a freaky bushing that if you run without that little cup on the end it will get eaten to hell. It's more common on the MKII's (I believe age has something to do with this) and as such someone made a replacement for it. BillyM makes a bronze...
