Also, on someone breaking trannies, it's not hard to screw up a tranny if you miss a shift or generally abuse it. Seems to be the only weak link is that they didn't come with an LSD from the factory.

I've seen good healthy cars with stock turbo with a 3" turbo back, intake, and boost just under fuel cut pull right around 300 to the wheels. Depends on conditions though as at that level the CT is starting to blow hot air and it will heat soak...

The vast majority of MKIII's can't pull 11's without breaking... Now that they've gone to the trucklet SRT-4, it doesn't hold as true, but name another car for the price that performs as good with a warranty and factory support for power mods...

Appears the difference is that the race version has their billet bearing retainer plate and shift fork. Driftmotion carries the MC thrust washer, but I don't see it listed on MC's site...
