    EGR doesn't lower performance as it's closed at WOT. You can get used parts, and if you're limber, the cooler can can removed and replaced with the engine in the car. Or go the JDM ECU route.

    If the switch feels loose, remove the end cap (it's a royal pain to remove without breaking it) and tighten the screw inside.

    Stock gauge or sender is bad? Like I said, it's used by the ECU...

    Looks to be stock tips on the muffler, but the body doens't look right. Muffler rusting out is common on cars that don't get driven long enough or often enough.

    Yep, that's the main reason, but like I said, you have another issue running on an ECU that is tuned for the EGR to be there and functioning...

    Yeah, definately the problem, and the ECU uses the stock sender for some trimming, so hook it back up.

    Can't tell you off the top of my head to be honest, and I think the GE and GTE run different cats.

    Header, not plural. Header will come with a mid pipe that bolts to the cat, then the cat-back bolts to the other end of the cat ;)

    Blurry pic, but it's the blue box Without a multimeter you're shooting in the dark, and jumping things with voltage can cause shorts.

    fed ECU is still tuned for EGR, it just doesn't have the sensor...
