Nooooope, the coating is what protects the can from the acid. Try drinking from a glass instead of straight from the can, it DOES make a difference. There are expiration dates on sodas for many reasons as well...
Believe it or not the inside of a can is coated to prevent contamination ;)
Still tastes differently though, especially if you drink directly from the can instead of pouring into a glass.
Forged pistons don't have to be made that way either ;)
You're missing the main point though. You rebuild an engine for the power levels. Even though someone has done over 700HP on the stock internals doesn't mean it would live for a long period of time. A built motor would arguably last...
Supposedly in taste tests people can't tell the difference between high fructose corn syrup and cane sugar.
Either their taste testers don't have taste buds or their lying because it's obvious to me...
Then they screwed up...
Also, the milky white around the edge is the little dots on the glass. Tint won't properly stick to it. I've heard if it's lightly sanded with fine sand paper to even it out that it will help.
