Voltage Supply Problem @ ECU (highly technical)

Sorry, I don't speak Greek. Only English and Russian ;) He comes across as somewhat electrically competent so I didn't dumb it down. I'm bored this morning so here's some light reading: Voltage drop testing is a technique used to find very small resistances, especially when the circuit is...

Voltage Supply Problem @ ECU (highly technical)

Meh, highly technical? Cakewalk. The location of the loss can be easily found by doing voltage drop testing using the millivolt range on your meter. Same with the grounds. You can't use ohms on them. Regarding the other questions BATT is keep alive power, +B and +B1 are switched power from the...

Is this thread still on going? Jeez. 7Mboost: Just so you understand, you and I live in different worlds. I'm not some kid overly enamored with his first car. Lol, these threads where pseudo adults who've been driving a few years and have zero experience in LE work suddenly become legal eagles crack me up no end. Some of you are looking dumber by the post. As for the vid what we have there is a typical contempt of cop situation. While the officer...

    Emissions, oh snap!

http://tinyurl.com/23jpa3 I'd say you're screwed either way. If it's subject to high enhanced inspection (NYCMA) you're screwed because it's a loaded mode test. If it's subject to low enhanced (Upstate) you're still screwed, as the test includes a gas cap/evap/tampering inspection.

    oil at sparkplugs

The smoke is likely from valve stem seals. The oil on the plugs is from leaking valve cover gaskets. Oil can't get past the plugs no matter how much is in the plug well. As for smog there are many things you can do to improve your chances of passing. All depends on your technical abilities and...

    Mixed up vacuum hoses

They did the same thing as when evap wasn't used in the US. The gadget that takes care of it isn't associated with the engine ie; your motor may be JDM but the car isn't.

air filter causeing car problems.. need help

You need a minimum of one diameter ahead of the laminar flow screen for it to work properly. Otherwise unstable idle may result. The boost problem is probably unrelated.
