HNBR is the preferred elastomer for 134a service. It does stand up to heat better and is most compatible with the PAG and Ester oils used. As for alternative refrigerants the thread is too far gone to comment on...
You may speak The Queen's but it appears you smoke American and measure Japanese. I have two of those Mitutoyos. Batteries don't last worth a damn. One word: Starrett. Besides, digi is for whimps...real men read verniers ;)
The sender is nearby, located behind the power steering tank on the engine side of the thermostat housing. Properly called the water outlet housing. It's remotely possible you disturbed it. If you find it plugged in unplug it and momentarily ground the wire to the engine with the key on while...
Indications of a working clutch:
1) Clutch should have resistance to turning. It should stop in less than one rev when spun hard when cold.
2) It should engage when the engine is started and then smoothly quiet down as the rpm is brought up to 2000 and held there. If you're under florescent...
Well, I don't know how thick that Greddy is because I would never pay that for an adapter but I run a Permacool sandwich and have plenty of room down there. That said I don't use it for an oil pressure gage because imo there's nothing wrong with the stock one. It's worked fine for 21 years...
Without going into the technical details the pusher fan is there for AC reasons. That's why it's listed as a condenser fan in the AC section of the manual. You clearly have cooling system problems. I'd be fixing them instead of resorting to band aids.
1) The EGR will not operate.
2) Yes.
3) Any 12 volt three way solenoid valve will work.
That said as long as the coil isn't open or shorted the valve can usually be disassembled and repaired. Oh and these things aren't sensors...
An interesting tidbit: Because my test is due I was recently driving around with my gas analyzer on the car and for shits and giggles disconnected the EGR. While NOx did increase at no time did it exceed Cali cutoff points. This implies as long as the engine is running right into a good...
Living with what you have is no reason for it to look like that or to do things wrong. For example I see, among other things, you have the FPR connected to ported vacuum. I'm guessing you don't understand the problem with that or you'd have already fixed it.
Low voltage of course. No doubt due to voltage drop across a connector or ground path. As in most cars the stock headlight wiring in this one is very poor. Best thing is to redo it and use the original wiring to pilot the new stuff. Btw, the fogs won't work if the headlights burn out. It's not a...
