i have a new waterpump and therostat
all new hoses, rad. Cap:icon_bigg

the story goes like this i have on the highway doing about 60mph and i just happen to glance at the gauge and it was climbing

of course i freaked out and pulled over in 2secs. lol NOthing was leaking nothing was smoking the fan was spinning and there was no odor the coolant wasnt bubbling or anything ....I thought i was seeing stuff!! I added some coolant but it was already full after that the needle never went back up thank GOD!! The car feels fine the power is still there

BUT when im making a U turn or a sharp turn the Coolant sensor lights flashes, for like 3 seconds i couldnt believe my eyes!! lol

wat the hell is going on?? :nono:

P. Sthe only fan that was spinning was the big huge in the middle there's NO SMOKE

was the block and the head properly machined to a specific RA?(smoothness) since you said you have a metal headgasket. you might have air in your cooling system. you can try burping it see if that helps.

Try Blurping it and if that doesn't work, do a good long radiator flush and see if that helps. If that doesn't you might have early signs of a BHG. I had a stock 91T that would do the exact same thing overheat with no smoke and not leaking anywhere and it was a BHG. On my 89 I have a HKS hg with Koyo radiator, new fan clutch, fan blade, and 160 degree thermostat.
