    He's right about using O2 but some other things don't add up. First, the composition of a stoichiometric exhaust stream sans catalyst contains little oxygen to begin with.     The likely explanation is he got the gas wrong. Sort of makes the entire thread a waste of time but since that's probably what happened the irony is, assuming the engine is in fuel control, the new cat probably will fix it...

    Not necessarily so but it's true decel fuel cut is partly predicated on the TPS. I forget whether it uses IDL or VTA in conjunction with vehicle speed though. Fix the code and see what happens. You may get lucky...
