The smoke's coming from inside the engine bay? Did you remove the oil lines from the bottom of the turbos themselves? I ask because those seals are very hard to get back on right, and can leak like crazy if not tightened down properly.
How does that work for you? I always thought it was a bad idea because there can be situatons where there can be boost pushing against the valve (live before the BOV opens, or if it's broken), and that can be bad for some ISCVs.
It's an ACTUAL Twin Turbo R :naughty:. Actually, when I went down to the track last week, the tech said "Your steering wheel is on the wrong side". I told him I would try to fix it before I hit the strip. haha.
That's a tough question, as I've never gone on a long trip with stock leather...

I pulled my 1JZ to throw on my GT40-88, and decided to check the main bearings. 1-6 are pretty good with some SLIGHT marking on them (looks like a little debris got into them, but bearing 7 is trashed. Looks like it was starved for oil. I haven't checked the rod bearings yet.
