    I installed them backwards. D'oh. Haha, still look good though. I painted the plastic base black because grey looked blah. I used clear silicone to mount them. Hopefully I don't lose it on the road somewhere. Edit: my car NEEDS a wash.

    TTR's drop the car about 1/2" (maybe an inch) and from what I can remember, are progressive. Haha, I have a TTR, I should know this. They're a surprisingly stiff setup too

    Question about my TPS

    Heh, I think most people mess with it, then go "ah shit, I shouldn't have touched that" :) I messed with mine, then had my V-pro installed. The V-pro was calculated to the incorrect TPS settings, so I had to adjust it, then get the v-pro re-calibrated. That was a PITA.

    Ahh, I never get tired of that truck :) Yeah, stupid torqueless motor. Mine only made 280tq to the wheels at stock boost.

    To adjust the TPS, conenct a multimeter between the IDL line, and I think it's the VE line. place a 0.4mm spacer in front of the throttle adjustment screw, and adjust the TPS so that you just see continuity.     I'm going to try some 800cc injectors, and Mazda Cosmo fuel pump, and see how much power I can get out of the stock rail and lines.

    What was he revving it to? I've yet to hear of anyone making <600whp break the 1JZ bottom end from anything other then user error. I have also yet to hear of anyone breaking the bottom end from power at all, but then again, I don't hear about a lot of 1JZs.

    No it's not. How are you trying to adjust it? Resistances are really only necessary to check to make sure the TPS is in proper working order, not adjustment. To adjust it, stick a continuity meter across VE and IDL (I think those are the pins), stick a 0.4mm (not a 0.6mm like the 2JZ)...

    I LOVE it, there's so much control with the unit. on the other hand, there's so much control with the unit. Most people are too dumb or impatient to properly set it up. I know a guy who has one, and uses the overboost warning to set the boost. :rolleyes:
