The transmissions are the same on the 7M and 1JZ, but the bellhousing is different. My guess is there's not enough clearance in the 1JZ bellhousing to fit the twin disc. Get the RPS 3200lb pressure plate, and their RPS MAX single disc clutch. AS for the transmission holding the power...

I actually don't think those are the actual names for the pins, but when you're looking at teh TPS attached to the TB, they're the left most 2 pins.

No they're just normal speakers. I would bet that the amp in the head unit fired. My buddy's 02 corolla did the same thing. Easy test, find another toyota HU :)
