Yeah, I know you're right.
At this point, I hope to have the engine/tranny in by end of month.
What I have left is fuel pump and relay mod, both fuel lines to the fpr, intercooler kit, turbo install, and exhaust.
Maybe it'll be running by June.
Then on to stage 3- exterior.
That coolant tube under the intake manifold goes to the iscv.
Then another one leaves the iscv and goes to the throttle body.
Then another one leaves the throttle body, and goes the the small pipe at the end of the wrap-around coolant pipe, under the egr valve.
ps- the motor's looking good...
Thanks for doing that, AS!
It's not bad at all, but I'm thinking that black is too dark for the lower half, so my current plan is meteor gray lower, light silver upper.
I'm tired.
So, after talking with 1986.5supra_kid for quite awhile and showing him what I was doing to my car, I started realizing why it's taking so long to finish my project.
I keep diving into useless detail. Plus, it kinda sucked to not have a Supra to bring to sunday's supra meet, lol.
And...
LOL!
That's how you know it's a MkIII supra meet- NO mkIII owner has a working mkIII !!!
Actually there were only two mkIII's at this meet(it was mainly an 82-85 celica/supra meet), and they had left before the photo op.
Mine is the black MR2.
What springs are you running? It sits like Intrax springs.
Also, I see you swapped out the front lip for a aftermarket spoiler- you still have the oem piece?
I like your change in wheels as well.

That's when I retired it to the garage for the full restoration.
I haven't put any miles on it in over a year and a half now, and it'll be at least 6 more months till I can.
True, but the heater core valve would be on the opposite side of the engine, and the PPS would be at the front of the engine.
The wires for the reverse lights would be red and yellow, at least on the '88 they are.
The birdcage doesn't mean the rad is full, it means the resevoir is low
Ebrake...
We as members can't change our thread titles, but the mods can. PM Hvyman and he'll adjust it to whatever you'd like:

Well, today was MR2 day, instead of Supra day.
I tried changing out my strut rod bushings for poly's, and found that both rods, and both subframe brackets were complete rust.
I'm lucky they didn't fail on me while driving. So I went down to the Pull-a-part lot this afternoon, and grabbed two...
So, what were you working on, that made it fail?
An obvious question- but did you check the EFI fuse?
PS- Is the title of this thread supposed to be Heart TRANSPLANT, or Transport?
