    2013 Southeast Celica/Supra Meet

False alarm- I hit the Pull-a-part yard today and scored two complete front strutrod assemblies for $27. Already installed them. The bushings in them looked almost brand new. So sad how badly rust claims the suspension parts on an Ohio car vs. the GA cars.

    2013 Southeast Celica/Supra Meet

Ok, I do NOT want to be one of these guys that ditches at the last second, but I'm 50/50 as to whether or not I can make it. NOT because I had something come up, but rather mechanical issues. Went to replace the front strut rod bushings with poly's yesterday, and when I finally got the rusted...

Looking for plug wire suggestions for 1989 MkIII Turbo.

NGK's are practically top of the line, to be honest. The only 'performance' wire available to my knowledge, are either MSD's, or preferably, Magnecor's. The MSD's worked fine for me, but the plug boots became brittle after about a year...

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

No, mine didn't break. LOL- what does that even mean?? :) Pearl black sounds pretty hot, actually.

    Issues please help!

Well, basically, yes. The fuel has already been determined for the amount of air in the piping, but when you vent and the air isn't returned post MAF, then the fuel amount becomes incorrect(rich).

You're going to put NSX headlights on your car? You do realize that the average price for just ONE headlight is two to three times what you paid for the car... I say go custom if you want to spend less than $2,000 on your headlights.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

So I've been slowly finishing the engine tranny updates for the car, but not in a big hurry, because I realize there are quite a number of steps before I can put it in the car, if I want to do it semi-right: Degrease and touch up the engine bay Do some -AN crap to the fuel feed line at the...

    intercooler

Yes, this surprised me. I rolled my car out of the garage to remove my dp and exhaust, as well as the intake pipe, and entire IC system/ piping to sell off. The I realized that it would be almost impossible for me to push the car back uphill into the garage. So for giggles, I started it, and...

    2013 Southeast Celica/Supra Meet

Not a single supra at the supra meet-LMAO! That would be the quintessential MkIII "Supra" meet. Every single guy would show up in a truck or an accord, explaining how there Supra is 'almost' ready to drive. That's the MkIII crowd, though. Unlike the MkIV guys, we have to deal with modifications...

OldCrappySupra - Wheels for my old bones

Looking great, man. I might need to look into that ceramic paint. I'd like to coat my turbine housing and manifold, and save the wrap for the downpipe.

    Project Super Slow

That part is a common failure point. You can remove the charcoal cannister, but once you cap off the lines i think you need to change out the fuel cap to a venting type.

Electrical question - coolant warning switch

Sorry, didn't mean to 'make' you go do that, but glad you did. Yeah, that's the switch i'm looking at, the one with the '73'' on it.
