code 11 car wont go past 3000 rpm

So...You'll swap a part, THEN diagnose the problem? You're not a doctor, are you? :) 3P and JetJock know more than most of us can ever hope to, when it comes to electrons. I'm gonna guess that if the car runs at ALL, you don't have a problem with the EFI relay.

Road racing on the track w/o a thermostat

So, would an increase in water pump pulley diameter help in lowering the rotation speed of an oem pump, in order to keep it out of high rpm caviation(in a racing situation)?

code 11 car wont go past 3000 rpm

I doubt it. And no, you won't hit fuel cut revving in neutral.

code 11 car wont go past 3000 rpm

There is no vacuum line that would cause the car to overheat. - What junction of coolant pipes are you referring to? Picture? And are you sure that you're not hitting fuelcut? And I've never heard of code 11. Are you sure it isn't just simply going "blink-blink-blink-blink" in a continuous...

My car has been sitting for over 5 years. Will not start.

Maybe you should... Good to hear you got it sorted out. Now this all took place over a year ago. When did you actually do the swap and get the car running?

    Coolant lines under Intake Manifold?

LOL- very fair question, after looking at the pic. No, I took this picture, while holding the entire pipe assembly over the engine, that was on a stand. It's not a plug; rather, I cut the nipple off, and had a shop tig weld a slightly larger section of pipe over it. TIG welding is beyond my...

Um, I'm pretty sure you have to push it IN, then turn it slightly, just like a tiny brake light bulb.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Ok, I found a small project to work on this evening. I finally finished fiddling around with my instrument cluster, and got the coolant overtemp light installed: This thing simply flashes if I exceed 220 degrees at the thermostat housing. If you'll recall, i put one in for my oil pressure as...

Low compression. Compression test and leak down results.

I wonder if # traditionally leaks down more than others, due to the timing belt tensioner bolt pulling on the cylinder wall. It's been reported as causing an out-of-round cylinder.

Got a few exhaust parts in, but not enough to begin fabrication, so no Supra work today.
