BL has gone 8.04 @ 185 mph in the 1/4 mile with a 6spd, they have obviously gone through extensive planning and testing and the parts can withstand extreme G's and speed.
You are making judgements about a car that you don't know nearly enough about, and you are posting your opinions as facts...
.....
A supra has less drag than a Veyron, this BL Supra in particular has MUCH less.
If this car can do nearly 242 mph in the standing mile I am sure they can go 248+ mph.
When you say "in a car not designed to do 400+ km/h", I am assuming you mean designed by Toyota. Obviously this...
When I first pulled the taillights, you could see the outline where the old gasket was. I put a small thin line of liquid gasket on the body where the gasket seals. Then I put the new gaskets on the taillights, pressed them in gently, and tightened them down... Did I say tightened? I meant...
I didn't use it to GLUE the weather seals, I used it to help seal the gaskets to the body. It wasn't actual FIPG, it was some generic liquid gasket. It worked great for me. I just switched over to 89+ taillights about a month and a half ago, the "liquid gasket" was very easy to remove, I just...
My taillights were fogging up, so I installed new taillight gaskets.
Haven't fogged up since.
Make sure you clean off all the old gasket material and make sure it has a good seal. IIRC I used some liquid gasket also to help seal the taillights to the rear of the car.
......
There's no point in posting this, because nobody else should be doing this. New taillight gaskets will fix the problem with the taillights fogging up.
Your fix is completely.. wrong.
I want to get my car aligned this week, but am unsure what specs would be best.
I want to get maximum lateral traction, the car squats quite a bit (and will squat even more when I switch out the rear springs), so I need positive camber in the rear correct? So as the rear comes down the tires...
I absolutely love the color. If I ever end up painting my supra it will definitely be yellow, and the yellow you have on yours looks like the same shade I would get . Do you have any more pics? If you do please PM me, I would definitely like to see more angles/different lighting! Thank you...
Of course I read the information that was posted 2 pages back, I was part of the discussion.
Being helpful doesn't offend me, you appear to be much more worked up than I am.
I have already stated my full opinion.
Read what?
Stuff I already knew :dunno:
A pre89 lip will fit a pre89 bumper better than an 89+ lip on a pre89 bumper any day of the week. I never said you can't make an 89+ lip fit.
