I switched my pre89 taillights for an 89+ set a while back. The Pre89 taillights worked fine 100% when I removed them. I noticed a little while ago that one of my 89+ taillight bulbs is out. Not the brake lights, just the running taillight bulb. Since nobody has made an offer for my pre89...
I cleaned it about a year ago when my idle was messed up. I'll try starting my car the normal way and if it happens again I'll take it off and take a look.
Thanks for the help everybody
It hasn't happened since I last posted, the only thing I've been doing is turning the Key to ON, letting fuel pressure build and the aem uego countdown, then put the Key back to off, then back to on, and then starting it a few seconds later. Hasn't happened since.
Isn't it called the IACV on the 1jz (Idle air control valve)?
Or is it ISC (Idle speed controller)?
Or is it ICS (Idle controller of speed)? :P
I tried revving it a bit and went over 3k and when it finally dropped back down the lowest it got was 2k. Restarted the engine and everything...
On regular cold start it will idle higher, 1250 rpms I think. Then drops as it warms up.
But these few times it has idled up past 2000 and wasnt dropping so I restarted the engine.
This has happened 3 times total, I think once a week the last 3 weeks.
I will start the car (From a cold start) and the RPMs will jump up to around 2K and stay there. Also, it sounds like there is a big air leak coming from the center of the firewall.
Then, I shut off the engine. I crank...

Doors are already available, s2 also has (iirc they're fiberglass) widebody fenders. CF rear diffusers have already been used on mk3 supras, that's nothing new. If you search you can find pictures.
You can use a vinyl repair kit or swap in a new dash. That CF cover looks awful glossy in that...
It would scrape just as much if not more than a normal flush lip because the splitter extends out past the bumper. Extending the splitter out is the same effect as extending a lip down, you're losing clearance up/down dips and in/out of bumps.
Why not get a real splitter? It will cover the...
No lol weight saving is not the goal. I want one like that but with no holes cutout (No holes for the cd player deck or climate control). Since it's an overlay I imagine they could make it specifically for how the buyer wanted, for instance I would want everything covered over except the holes...
Doors in CF have been available, AFAIK nobody has stepped up to dish out the $$$$ to buy them. No need to produce twice the quantity of something that already isn't selling.
Exactly. With the fact that nobody will dish out the cash aside, do we really need to make the weight distribution on...
