Ummm...I thought I answered your questions pretty well...like I said in Post #9, compare the pin-outs on the Auto vs Manual tranny to determine compatibility with your harness.
You're going to have a tough time getting a part #...I can't help you there.
A VPC will not defeat the JDM speed...
Pete - If you are doing analysis using Red Line, I would love to see it. If you could scan and post in the below thread, that would be awsome. Same for the Pennzoil Platinum if you have one.

10 deg BTDC = advanced...i.e. using a timing light, the crank index is pointing at the "10" on the timing cover with TE1 & E1 jumped on the diagnostic block.
A non-recirculated BOV can easily cause this.
Timing is affected...the ECU advances timing in the EGR operating range.
The amount of air sensed by the AFM is the same...the ECU does not know the EGR is not there. Keep in mind air volume is sensed at the air filter...EGR exhaust gas is introduced at the manifold, diluting the air.
No...
I deleted the posts because it was borderline trolling...something you are well known for.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the cost of X number EGR valves, modulators, coolers, and associated fittings will result in a production cost savings when Japan's emissions laws...
You know Brad - How many times is it going to take to convince you that the "I do it" -or- "my cousin's buddy does it and it's ok" doesn't mean squat. That amounts to a "testimonial" that has no basis in fact...we have had that conversation before. What you are saying means absolutely nothing...
JDM ECU's have a speed limiter (speed cut) built in...I do not have personal experience with it, but I'm pretty sure it's 180 Km/h (112 MPH). You can get around it with an HKS Speed Cut Defender or cut the SPD input into the ECU.
Cutting the SPD input is not a good idea on an auto tranny...
That would be a very wise idea...that is unless you want to risk detonation at mid-throttle, high load conditions. Like I said, you will likely want to address the speed cut that is programmed into the JDM version.
You would have to add a lot of fuel at the mid-range...right where you...
1) You will need a JDM ECU if you do not have an EGR on the engine. You will have to deal with the speed limiter that is built in the ECU if you plan on running the car on the track.
2) A grey plug ECU should work.
3) Take a look at the pin-outs for the AT vs Manual ECU to see if they...
Easiest way to determine TDC:
- Remove all spark plugs (makes turning the crank easier)
- Place small diameter wooden dowel (~12" long) in the #1 spark plug hole
- Rotate crank damper CW to point at "zero" on timing case
- Observe dowel...height should peak at zero...rotate past zero to be...
The one in the picture you posted is correct...they are common across years. You may have a JDM sending unit on your motor. If so, I hope it did not fry your gauge ;)
The BOV is vented to the atmosphere vs recirculated to the accordion hose like stock?
If so, that could be your problem...the motor is going rich and stalling. You might try pulling the EFI fuse in the engine bay box an let the ECU relearn idle, but that's a crap shoot.
Do you have any ECU...
The Areoquip is more expensive ($38 at Summit vs $21 for the Fumoto) to do basically the same thing. But hey, whatever blows your skirt Nash.
I'm using the Futomo on all my cars works great and is very easy to use. I've even had one dragged across a dirt berm with no damage to the pan or...
