I must have put on 200 miles in the last 3 days (only drove it 2 days) and it has been amazing. no problems that were the motor's fault, my dumb ass forgot to make sure that the IC piping was all clamped down and i blew 3/4 of the connections.
12PSI feels sooo good.
put it this way, the next transmission i get wont be a manual and wont be made by toyota (i need to burn through 2x r154s so i think it may be a while, enough to get that sweet turbo setup and save for the swap)
Good to know about the aristo twins. Im thinking of putting them on my 1j because:
a) im cheap and can get a set for like 200 shipped
b) I dont want assloads of power, 85% duty on 440s should hold me over
c) I have never heard of someone doing this and want to pioneer something for the MKIII
if you have jza70 brackets, it would be pretty easy. Put it in, wire the dash up (using a turbo tach also look into cutting the firewall instead of extending all the wires).. the hard part would be the transmission, with it not lining up right and the custom driveshaft thing. You should be...
Only if you promise that i get it back by the end of the night. I cant go a day without my precious boost. Ill get withdrawls and shit
Ill swing by in the altima
If my bottom end blows, then ill go 1.5jz. If i manage to blow up everything, then i may concider it.
Trust me when i say this, all the work that you do durring the swap makes it worthwile in the end. and remember to tighten ALL the clamps on the IC piping, i blew off 3 hoses today, within 1 hr of taking the car out. It was like, OMG, 3psi boom.
