ide run chkdisk before reinstalling

fal fans and a autozone 180* switch here, motor stays under 50% on the guage at all times. (even after 1.5hr drives)

boot into safe mode and run MSCONFIG. look for any files that are not neccessary, or any viruses. if you are questioning an image, search it on google. also look for NPAD, its a nasty virus that tries to emulate notepad. edit: also might want to run chkdisk from any xp install cd

check your codes, if it is a code 14, its either the ecu, the ignitor or the wiring between. You said it isnt the ecu (guessing you tested a known good one). break out the multimeter and check the wiring between. If that doesnt do it its the ignitor (140 from napa)
