    Shimming the bypass spring on the oil pump

    The shimming wont help idle pressure, only high rpm pressure. So, i don't see the point of overdoing that. As long as i get at least 35-40 warm psi at ~3500rpm(highway), i'd be very pleased. I was more concerned with low rpm pressure.

    Hopefully, i can let you know next week. I have 3mm shimmed bypass, thermostatic setup, new pump, az hardpipe and new squirter bolts, so im hoping for good warm idle pressure. Next week i should have all the gauges in.

    Generally, a shop would never replace the banjo bolts unless the owner asked him to. They are roughly $11 a piece, and can be had from any dealership, or Driftmotion.com

    There's really nothing very technical about the wire slots. I took an angle grinder to the edge, and made cuts, approximately 1/4" deep by 1/4" across, and beveled both sides to protect the wires. The cuts were made roughly in line with each coil mounting bolt, #'s 1-5, with the wire at each...

    Any moisture whatsoever in the spark valley will allow the spark to ground out once load increases. Hvae you checked resistance on the plug wires yet?
