    Violated my own eBay rule...

You mean flex section? I built my dp using Ebay stainless 3.5 inch J-tube, ebay flex section, ebay Vband and ebay header wrap.

    Violated my own eBay rule...

Where i made the cut. Where i made a new bead. Where i extended. You can see at the top left side, where metal was added.

    Violated my own eBay rule...

Upper pipe. Its too long, and misaligns the mounts for both crossover tubes. I just cut 1.5 inches off the side that joins the throttle body, and gave it a new bead. Also, i had to extend the lower pipe where it goes up to the compressor outlet. But that wasnt a defect; im on an aftermarket...

I got that one. It takes a slight bit of adjustment, but otherwise a good fit.

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

I would say off a bit. The #5 coil mounting hole would be on the innermost edge of where you would creat a larger hole for the bracket post. What i needed to do was get that side of the bracket to sit slightly higher, but i didn't want to cut/ weld a set of higher mounts on the other end. So...

Yeah, 2+. I put in a new Aisin master and slave, as well as a stainless clutch hose.

    '89 turbo feelers.

Pic doesn't work. Feeler threads also go in the for sale section, because that's where people with money for a car are really going to look.

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Looks somewhat like mine. :) Today I transferred my dash harness over to the new dash. And yesterday I started my engine for the very first time since I assembled it a year ago.

Bringing "Old School" back to life

He's working so hard- I didn't wanna poop in his cornflakes. PS- I love your garage space. I'd kill for that much real estate.

    Clutch Kit

Dm changed their site a couple weeks ago. And I agree with you- a good pressure plate(but not that extreme 3200 crap) plus a decent disc will hold alot of power.

    Car Not Starting

Yeah- That would mean that either a cable was bad or one of the contact points of the cable. And oh yes- The starter is one of the top 3 PITA projects with a Supra.

    Car Not Starting

Um. I've never had my negative cable bolted to the starter. The positive cable goes there. Eric the car guy does put out some good tips and info. And +1 to me for guessing correctly(sorta). :)

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

So the big speedbump on my build, has been the ac system. I didn't want to install the dash till I could confirm that what's behind it(the ac core) was leak-free. I pressurized the system with argon, and have found that it bleeds off over a reltively short period of time. I tried spraying each...

A lot has changed since I've been involved with the Supra community.

Agreed. The last R154 I found in a junkyard, I bought for $80, and sold it for $400 3 days later. This forum is very quiet compared to a couple years ago. And as mentioned. There's not alot of 'new' info out there, and our cars are indeed becoming more rare. All the more reason to keep mine...
