Is this guy retarded? I think so

You know, if it weren't for all the painful butt-sex, I'm sure there would be a lot more of the gay lifestyle out there. :p I hear you though. I'm entirely too busy with my own life for the most part to give two shits about the business of others. To anyone who ever feels the need to ask...

    Doomsday Preppers

Guns don't malfunction... people who can't be bothered to operate them with respect might have a brain that occasionally malfunctions once in a while though. That said, when I was young, I almost did put my eye out with a Red Rider, shot a tin can too close, ricochet caught me in the eyebrow...

Ever wondered what would happen if a nuclear weapon detonated near where you live?

You know, being out in the sticks is all fun and games until you realize you have a good handful of Minuteman missile silos in the state. Doh! And don't worry Ian, the zombies will likely be taken out by the critters before they make it your way, right? :)

Ever wondered what would happen if a nuclear weapon detonated near where you live?

Some of those had some pretty big blast radii... I'd be more afraid of the wind where I live though. Bomb could hit Seattle and I'd be dead within days the way the wind blows here. :p

    Got A little bored!

Camshafts for a dining room table's legs? How big is the engine you're getting those from? :aigo: OP, I dig it man, those would make some awesome decorative pieces for around the house...

    Doomsday Preppers

...and people wonder why I haven't had tv hooked up in my room for... oh, I dunno, probably 8 years now? I download or netflix whatever I find interesting, I just can't do "tv" anymore... internet is just so much better.

    MKIV Supra With 1JZGTE VVT-i

I've always wanted to do this, unfortunately, I can't afford the 7m... Could be an upgrade if the car started life as a shell, or a blown GE or something like that in it.

I'm trying to peice together an exhaust on a budget.

For most cases of an exhaust on a budget, I would suggest lurking in the classifieds section on here. You'll find an exhaust that fits your needs before long, just be prepared to jump on it quickly, or it might be snatched up before you get a chance at it...

Is this a good first car?

They make good companion cars for just running around when you don't wanna waste the gas in the Supra. Take one for a test drive, you won't regret it. 240 isn't a terrible car, but in stock form, they are prone to sudden bouts of oversteer. Might not be the best learners car, but if you keep...

    Supra's in some recent mags

In that respect, the Evo that this bumper was modeled after really doesn't flow well either, they're not exactly round-style cars either. No worries though, long as you like your car, that's what matters. Style is FAR too subjective to be judged in my opinion.

    Doomsday Preppers

That doesn't surprise me one bit. Wonder who's behind the editing to make prepared people seem crazy? Who's interest might THAT be in? The boy scouts always teach you to be prepared. Hell, even FEMA tells people to be prepared, not to mention the CDC... so who's twisting the editing on this show?

the car/truck you wish you could have back...

Was that car in Imaginaryville, TX? 6k for a TT 6 speed, seems a little scam like to me... Anyhow, on topic, I miss my 2000 Miata, it was a good daily driver, had AWESOME tires and alignment. I think the brake pedal only got used at red lights and really tight corners. That, and my 88 Supra...

    Picture Game Thread

I like the idea, but it'll be hard to keep a picture game going. I'll see if I have anything to add. :)

My 1977 7M-GTE CELICA! Finished! Test drive vid on page 18!

Sooooo... when is this car gonna leave the lights on two wheels? :naughty:

Is this a good first car?

See, I went the other way (due to a lack of funds, interest, commitment, whatever you will), and drove a Cavalier for 5 years before I got a Supra at 22 years old. The Cavalier taught me basic driving fundamentals, but very little in the way of driving dynamics. I learned more from driving a...

    Group A Supra race car

WOW. Either you are the Stig, or you've set that car up quite nicely. Like has been mentioned before, it's an honor having someone of your caliber on this site, thanks for joining up. :D

    Side exit exhaust...

Wait... 3.4L Toyota V8? The only such V8 I'm aware of was in the Minolta 87/88 Group C cars... Or is this something completely different? If it IS that Group C engine, no wonder it almost killed ya!

    Supra's in some recent mags

Good point, that seems kinda like shooting themselves in the foot. "We don't like your car, but you're paying for our magazine." Who thought that was a good idea to have commentary on a subscriber's car? Isn't that the Maxx Autoworks bumper, kinda Evo-VI looking, isn't it?

Is this a good first car?

So, can we all agree that the Miata is a good option for a fun, reliable, affordable first sports car? I know for a fact I'd be a much better driver if I had started in a Miata...
