    Chokes when hot?

How did you adjust the idle? There isn't a idle adjustment. You need to fix the vacume hoses first. Any vacume leaks are going to give you idle problems.

    Cig. Lighter outlet

You put your finger in the socket and if it gets hot then your element is bad:) No really you get a multi meter and put the plus in the center and the ground on chassis ground. Most time its the element that goes bad they are cheap I'd just replace that and then if it doesn't work you can...

    N/A-T question.

Gains??? Hell yeah!!! But maybe the 60 over, 10.5-1, cams, stroker, and everything else may have helped a little too:) The reason I installed the SAFC II was I couldn't get the car to run decient with out some sort of control. Like I said I would have liked to had a WB to tune it myself. Now...

    Header/Exhaust System Design

You talking about the pre made collectors you referenced yesterday? They're $150-$200 for the 3into 1? What about the length you were talking about 32"? The cut off pacesetter you cut the pipes look to be about 20", I know is just a mock up, but are you going to extend the primaries?

    N/A-T question.

I had one on my GE worked fine. The only thing was I had to have it tuned at the Dyno as they had a WB to tune it. I sold it to a member with a GTE. Only thing I would have added is a WB so I could tune it myself.

    Header/Exhaust System Design

If you talk to them find out the dia./width of the 6 tube collector. The area the tubes go thru by the bellhousing is approx. 6". If you were to run the primaries around 32 inches long they would all be in that area and collect from what I can guess around a couple inches past were the block...

    Header/Exhaust System Design

The flange should be the easy part. $250 sounds quite steep to me. I think if you are making the primaries around 32" long, you might have some trouble getting 6 1 3/4" pipes to fit in the narrow area they have to go in down to the collector. The collector would have to be pretty large to get...

Ouch!!6 in to 1 might be a problem with fitment trying to get 6 primaries to fit along side, the motor and tranny, IDK maybe.

What about the charging system, belt, alt., etc? Not saying that's what it is but it is a possibilty.

    wow

And more chance you are going to get flamed. I've had my Supra since 88, and I'm still learning, by reading, or maybe I'm just slow:nono:

    Header/Exhaust System Design

I wouldn't think it would be that much, maybe around the 5 - 10 hp range, but 5-10 hp is 5-10 hp add that to what you would normally pick up with the change to headers and it all adds up. Wouldn't be better, and easier, to put the 0-2, farther down to read all the cylinders? Also to prevent any...

Just a shot in the dark here, but how's your battery? Our cars kind of act a little crazy when the voltage gets a little low sometimes.

    Header/Exhaust System Design

Don't know who makes them. The flanges should be easy to make and make right, not the half-ass job Pacesetter does. Especially if you have one to go by. I would think the proper length, right bend tubes would be the hard part. IDK. Once you had a pattern to go by.....

    Header/Exhaust System Design

This is kind of bad news for the guys (me for one) that have Pacesetter headers. Makes me want to rip mine off and rebuild them. Maybe someday I will, maybe someday somebody will make a good set, hint hint, for the higher modified GE.

Cut em apart and make new pipes out of 1 1/2" I.D. pipe or larger. Didn't you want 1 5/8" I.D.?

    Low compression

I don't believe that is totally true, but IJ had a good idea how to check for a leaking valve.
