    If it were backlash he'd get a clunk as it came onto the back of the teeth then the load would hold it there until he accelerated again. (Diffs usually just whine badly) Can't think of ANYTHING in the trans that would cause what he describes. Out of phase shaft will do it as it winds up...

    Might have looked ok the day it was installed then moved under power the first run.. Can't see how backlash will make vibration on overrun that's usually either an out of phase shaft or damaged Uni joints.

    You need to drill the Dipstick hole and drill and tap the Oil Drain flange on the block for the turbo.

    Mine runs around there on cruise, remember cruise is closed loop and stoich so quite lean/hot.

    SSD: Had a few issues last year running it to 8300 rpm a lot ;) (broke a spring and sagged 2 others) Apart from that it's been perfect.

    LOL needs to be a Jz Auto bellhousing it's different to the 154 one. No idea on the BL trans sorry.
