Crank is small and flexy, they beat the snot out of bearings from what the guys were telling me.
There are a LOT of big power RB motors here as they were fitted to VL Commodores back in the late 80's.
Dremel and a sander to smooth any big ugly patches then find a shop that does header coating and take the parts there and get them to drop em in the vibratory polisher.
Return 2 hours later and pick up your shiny smooth part that has no missed corners and you'll still have finger prints left...
With that much bypass on the Throttle plate it would probably be close without an ICS.
Might be an idea to unplug it block the port and see how it behaves.
(I run DBW Idle control here and the Throttle is tipped 1% at idle)
