Read it many years ago lent it to a friend and of course it never came back, was at the bookstore and spotted it in paper back so grabbed it.
NOT something I'd normally read but a fantastic book.
WG and the Fuel system are probably the 2 last places you want to cheap out as both can totally destroy an engine in seconds.
Having said that a few here have had success with the cheap gates after stripping them down and checking for adequate clearence on the valve stem BEFORE using them...
Mini regulator on a compressor with an accurate gauge.
Increase pressure and watch the gate, it takes very little opeing to control boost in an engine so soon as it's 1>2mm off the seat that is your spring pressure.
I ended up trimming the plastics with a sanding roll in the die grinder in line with the 3 strut mounting nuts so I can get a socket on them just by removing the speaker covers, works a treat.
